Turn your idea into an MVP you can ship.

ShipMVP turns a raw startup idea into a focused plan: what to build, what to cut, which stack to use and exactly what to do on each of the next seven days.

No sign-up. About a minute per plan.

01 — Idea

Start with the messy version.

Type your idea the way you'd explain it to a friend. Add who it's for, how you build and your budget. That's all ShipMVP needs.

02 — Scope

Every feature on the table.

Claude lays out everything your idea could include, then finds the one first user and the one core loop worth proving.

03 — Cut

Say no, on purpose.

Features that don't serve the core loop go on the cut list, each with a reason. That's how a six-month idea becomes a one-week build.

04 — Stack

Stack only what matters.

The must-haves become your v1, on tools matched to your skill and budget — no-code to TypeScript.

05 — Launch

Ship it in seven days.

A day-by-day build plan, landing-page copy and the risks to test first. Then you go build.

What you get

One page. Everything you need to start.

Not a pitch deck and not a 40-page spec. A tight plan you can read in five minutes and act on in five more.

Inside every plan

Decisions, not just ideas.

Ruthless scope

Your idea is narrowed to one first user and one core loop — the smallest product that can prove people want it.

The cut list

Every tempting feature that doesn't belong in v1 is named and parked, with the reason. Say no on purpose.

A stack that fits you

Specific tools matched to your skill level and budget — from no-code to TypeScript — not a list of categories.

7-day build plan

Seven days, each with a goal and concrete tasks you can start right away. Turn it straight into a checklist.

Landing-page copy

A headline, subhead, benefits and call to action written for your first user, ready to put on a waitlist page.

Risks with tests

The assumptions most likely to kill the idea, each paired with a cheap way to test it before you build too much.

The 7-day build plan

Fly through your week, one day at a time.

Questions

Good to know.

What exactly do I get?
A structured MVP plan: the problem and first user, the core loop, must-have features with reasons, a cut list of features to leave out, a recommended tech stack, a day-by-day 7-day build plan, landing-page copy, the riskiest assumptions with a cheap test for each, a success metric and a pricing hypothesis. You can copy it or download it as Markdown.
Is ShipMVP free?
Yes. ShipMVP is in free public beta. To keep it fair for everyone there's a limit of 5 plans per hour per person. Paid plans may come later; anything you generate during the beta stays yours.
Which AI model writes the plans?
Plans are generated with Claude, a model made by Anthropic, through the Claude API. ShipMVP is an independent product and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
Do you store my idea?
We don't keep your idea or plan in a database. To generate a plan, your text is sent to Anthropic's API, which processes it under Anthropic's commercial terms (API inputs and outputs aren't used to train their models by default). Your latest plan is saved only in your own browser so you don't lose it on refresh. See our privacy policy for details.
Who owns the plan?
You do. Use it, edit it, share it with co-founders or investors. Just remember it's AI-generated advice: review it with your own judgement before you spend money or time on it.
